Morgan Motor Company

Working alongside Hewitt Studios, Constructional Timber were appointed by HB projects to deliver the Jewel Box, Car Canopy and Reception Building for the Morgan Motor Company.

 

Constructional Timber commenced the project carrying out the detailed design using the SEMA 3D modelling software. From this they worked closely with all members of the project design team to tailor the project the exact requirements of the client.

 

From there, the LVL was machined precisely and efficiently on CT’s state of the art Hundegger K2 Industry CNC machine. It was then coated with Osmo 420 UV protection oil.

 

All the steel base shoes were resin fixed in to the LVL posts in CT's factory to ensure a smooth site installation. The steelwork was painted black as per the design teams requirements.

 

The steel, LVL and plywood on all three buildings was installed by Constructional Timbers inhouse erection team using a 360 Roto Manitou providing the flexibility of lifting and transportation of materials on this amazing timber structure.
