RSPB Sherwood Forest
Working in a site of special scientific interest and a special area of conservation, the highest protected status in the UK with the largest collection of ancient Oak trees in Western Europe. Constructional Timber was tasked with the design, manufacture, supply and install of this unique structure.
Ibstock Place School
Constructional Timber, in collaboration with Feltham Construction, recently finished Ibstock place School refectory, which highlighted the use of CLT Panels to compliment the Spruce Glulam Beams which give the building a sense of intimacy and granditure.
Winner of the Sustainability leaders’ awards for building/Infrastructure of the year IKEA Greenwich consisted of; a Siberian Larch Glulam brise soleil façade, a pair of Siberian larch, cranked rooflights as well as a Siberian larch and Spruce CLT roof pavilion.
With the client being a founding member of the FSC chain of custody scheme all timbers supplied had to have full certification. The roof had 828 glulam members in it which equated to 219m3 of timber and a staggering 7,206 bolt.
A new luxury terminal in Manchester airport providing a premium and convenient service to customers. This was constructed with PEFC certified Larch and Spruce Glulam Beams.
Morgan Motor Company
In by HB projects to deliver the Jewel Box, Car Canopy and Reception Building for the Morgan Motor Company.
This was constructed using Spruce LVL which we feel really suits the companies ethos.
